Mission & Vision Statement

The mission and vision statement of Life’s H.E.A.L. Convalescent Ministry is to PRAY and ENCOURAGE the members who are sick, in the hospital, convalescent homes, retirement homes, homes, and/or in special care facilities.

Foundational Scriptures:

“And the King will answer and say to them, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me” Matthew 25:40 KJV.

“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world” James 1:27 KJV.

Purpose

The H.E.A.L. and Convalescent Ministry was formed to visit the   Sick and shut-in members of Life Church.  Taking the love of Jesus Christ to those who cannot be physically present, or who are going through difficult times, the H.E.A.L. and  Convalescing ministry is fulfilled by the team members who reach out and touch those who are in need. A H.E.A.L. and Convalescent Ministry team member is assigned to make hospital visits and home visits. We also make visitations to retirement homes, and/or special care facilities.  Sick and Convalescent members are sent the weekly church bulletin along with greeting cards.  Sermon tapes are also available upon request.

The Sick and Convalescent members are followed up with phone calls and visitations on a regular basis and as requested.
